Dawn Scheu is the visionary behind Willow Service Dogs, where she specializes in training service dogs for gluten and allergen detection. With her extensive expertise, Dawn also trains dogs for Autism, PTSD, and various medical detection roles. As a trailblazer in her field, Dawn taught the first gluten-detection dog, Willow, and she has successfully trained over 30 gluten-detection dogs.
She was the first to implement a controlled search method that includes both a trained indication behavior and a trained all-clear behavior, enabling dogs to perform accurate detection work even in environments filled with odors.
